Pandemic pan·dem·ic /panĖdemik/ Learn to pronounce adjective (of a disease) prevalent over a whole country or the world. synonyms: widespread , prevalent , pervasive , rife , rampant , epidemic ; More noun an outbreak of a pandemic disease. "the results may have been skewed by an influenza pandemic" The coronavirus is spreading around the globe and has affected me in many ways. One way is social distancing, this rule is not fun but will hopefully help this fast-spreading disease. I don’t like this rule because I can't be around my friends but we shouldn’t be breaking this rule because it can save a lot of lives. The second reason is no school and to any of you who wish to have no school, well, you got your wish! Even though we say we hate each other, having no school shows us how much we really love each other. Online school is really fun especially with google hangout and meet. Riding a bike “Steady… steady” *crash*. My brain tells me to keep going. One of the main parts of riding a bike is persevering because you're going to fall and get cuts and bruises but eventually you’ll be able to do tricks. But it doesn’t just come, you have to try again until you get it. I’m now 11 but started riding a bike when I was six. I didn’t have the widest space to turn and I would always fall on to a fence. But the one thing I did was persevere and I'm now a MASTER! Okay… not a master but I'm pretty good.

Moving to Glenridge Moving to Glenridge was a very important part of my life. At first, I thought my parents were out of their minds then I realized that they made the right choice. When I came to Glenridge the day before school started I was very nervous. I saw everyone else talking to their friends while I was just standing there alone. Then a girl with this smile that made me cringe walked up to me and said her name was Aaryn, I thought it was very nice of her to greet me but I was still sure I would be lonely for the rest of the year. Turns out I was wrong. A couple days later Aaryn started hanging out with me more at recess and lunch, soon after we were BFF’s and we were ALWAYS together at school. Aaryn always had my back and I always had her’s. When I said we did EVERYTHING together I mean it. We went to the safe seat together, we got in fights together and we laughed together. We even had some play dates together over the summer. When fifth grade started I was a litt

I was outside walking my neighbor Miss Miller's dog Fefe. She was a fluffy, white Pomeranian. I was walking down the block when I looked to my right and saw a German Shepherd sniffing the grass, it looked up and saw us. I froze. Fefe started running and I lost grip, just as I started running after her, so did the Shepherd. “Fefe!” called I Scooped her up right as the dog pounced, I kicked the dog and it fell to the ground . . . . . “Nora! Did you kick Ms. Shelly’s dog?!” I nodded. Mom looked really upset “It was so slow I-I” I sighed. Then I ran up to my room and shut the door. I didn’t plan on going outside ever again.

It was a beautiful Spring morning and I decided to ride my bike into the forest. I loved seeing the little squirrels chasing each other around the trees, hopping from branch to branch. I kept riding along the road in the forest when I heard a weird sound, I s looked around suspiciously, then again I heard what sounded what like walking men. I stopped and looked around again, “Hello?” “Anybody there?” Silence. When I heard running footsteps I turned around an screamed I woke up lying in the street and found my bike tied to an electric pole and …… spray painted yellow “AHHH!” I dropped down to my knees and cried.

Road Trip We all climbed into my dad’s vehicle and started singing along to Matthew Wilder, “Ain’t nothin gonna break-a my stride” I kept humming to the song “This is my kind of music!” my dad yelled, I smiled. We were going on a road trip to Utah. My family had just moved to Salem, then my dad surprised the family with a trip to Utah. It was going to be a cold there so I brought my furry coat along. Slowly, we drove along the road then a car crashed into us, everybody screamed, the airbags burst, and everything went black.
